My name is Mandy and I am the Founder of Prince George Dress Dreams.

I am a "stay at home" mom with two beautiful children. I am also a make-up artist and used to work in the film industry.

 (That's me in the picture)

For four years, I was a volunteer make-up artist for an organization called The Cinderella Project, in Vancouver. When I moved back to Prince George, I sought out an organization to give my time to, but came up empty handed. So, in September of 2011, I created Prince George Dress Dreams with the help of my friend Elizabeth.   Between the two of us, we gathered gowns, collected shoes and other items, sent out hundreds of e-mails, phoned many numbers, and knocked on many doors. We were able to help six girls find gowns, shoes and accessories. In our first year, the response from the community has been amazing.  Now that we are in our second year, the ball is really rolling. On January 5th, we held our first Dress Drop Off Day of the season. With the help of local television, radio, and newspapers, it was a huge success.

Elizabeth is our Co-Founder. She  is an amazing photographer and graphic designer; she also created the PGDD logo. Liz has an artistic eye, and is an awesome Ebay shopper.

Our Head Assistant Director is Kristy.  Kristy is also a "stay at home" mom to four lovely children. She helps keep me organized, and has cheered me on since day one.

In 2012, Denee joined PGDD as the Fashion DirectorDenee is a mother to one child, and is a teacher at one of our local high schools. She LOVES everything to do with fashion, writing, and crafting, which makes her the perfect addition to our team.
